案僧亮曰：第二譬也。林譬僧坊。迦羅迦譬內外俱麁，鎮頭迦譬內細外麁，而外相相似也。

Sengliang notes: This is the second parable. The forest is an analogy for the monastery. The kālaka is an analogy for being coarse both internally and externally; the tinduka is an analogy for being fine internally and coarse externally, while their outward appearances are similar.
