案智秀曰：向一翻先指前四依以諮佛，既蒙印可，便舉先問以請答也。

Zhixiu comments: The preceding turn first pointed to the previous four reliances to consult the Buddha; having received confirmation, he then brought forward the earlier question to request an answer.
