案道生曰：常我之理應萬行之時，義味悉在於經文矣。法瑤曰：佛性理味備之經教為集也。僧宗曰：果來應因為集也。寶亮曰：顯在經教之中也。

Daosheng comments: When the principle of permanent self responds to the myriad practices, its essential flavor is entirely within the scriptural texts. Fayao comments: When the essential flavor of the buddhadhātu principle is fully present in the scriptural teachings, it is 'gathering.' Sengzong comments: The fruit coming to respond to the cause is 'gathering.' Baoliang comments: It is manifested within the scriptural teachings.
