2.23

案僧亮曰：應感之事本自佛境，不以聲告，物莫知也。僧宗曰：菩薩二乘亦有神力，不得稱大。今言大者，佛之神力也。道慧記曰：此中有三瑞。又云：通哀歎以來凡七瑞也。此聲不從口出，故云神力。

I note that Sengliang says: "The matters of response to capacity originally belong to the Buddha's realm; if not announced by voice, beings would not know." Sengzong says: "Bodhisattvas and the two vehicles also possess supernatural power, but it cannot be called great. Here it is said to be great because it is the Buddha's supernatural power." Daohui's record says: "Within this there are three portents. It also says: including the lamentation onward, there are altogether seven portents. This voice did not come from the mouth, hence it is said to be by supernatural power."
