案僧宗曰：謂色究竟天也。無色界中彼無諸根，故不及也。寶亮曰：隨有緣悉聞，此蓋舉其一隅耳。道慧記曰：推此聲所極，正應二十恒沙國土也。下實諦中云「今聲至二十恒河沙」，以此而例，光明動地亦應然也。

I note that Sengzong says: "This refers to the Akaniṣṭha Heaven. In the formless realm they lack the sense faculties, so it does not reach there." Baoliang says: "In accordance with having conditions, all heard it; this is merely citing one corner." Daohui's record says: "Inferring the extent of this sound, it should precisely reach twenty Ganges-sands of Buddha-lands. Below in the section on the Truths, it says 'Now the sound reaches twenty Ganges-sands'; by this analogy, the light shaking the earth should also be so."
