案僧亮曰：波羅奢華，葉青，其華白，而一日三變，日未出時則白，日始出則赤，日晚則黃也。道慧記曰：其華質青而脈赤也。

Sengliang comments: The leaves of the palāśa flower are green and its flowers are white, yet they change three times a day: before the sun rises they are white; when the sun first rises they are red; late in the day they are yellow. Daohui's Records states: The substance of this flower is green and its veins are red.
