21.47

案僧宗曰：寄因以辨六行也。明放逸則無常苦果，不放逸則常樂果也。長行釋偈，小不次第也，先釋放逸果、次釋不放逸果、次釋放逸因、次釋不放逸因也。非聖凡夫者，前已釋二家因果，今出其人也。

Sengzong comments: Relying on causes to distinguish the six practices. It clarifies that heedlessness results in the impermanent and suffering fruit, while non-heedlessness results in the permanent and blissful fruit. The prose explanation of the verses is slightly out of sequence: first explaining the fruit of heedlessness, next explaining the fruit of non-heedlessness, next explaining the cause of heedlessness, and next explaining the cause of non-heedlessness. As for "non-noble ordinary beings": previously the causes and fruits of the two groups were explained, now it points out the persons.
