22.13

案僧亮曰：第五事，顯現涅槃及業報等也。法瑤曰：前示行惡止善也，此示行善制戒也。僧宗曰：第四事，月實不蝕，似損月，取譬涅槃。

Sengliang states: The fifth point manifests nirvāṇa, karmic retribution, and so forth. Fayao states: Previously he manifested committing evil to halt goodness; here he manifests practicing goodness to establish the precepts. Sengzong states: The fourth point: the moon is not actually eclipsed, but it appears to be impaired; this is taken as a simile for nirvāṇa.
