22.19

案僧亮曰：答太白星問也。法瑤曰：譬法身玄妙寂寞，絕於視聽之表。於情為隱，唯見丈六謂之為極；二乘之謂言無，故二乘不見也。

Sengliang states: This answers the question about Venus. Fayao states: This illustrates that the dharmakāya is profound, wondrous, and tranquil, beyond the realm of seeing and hearing. For ordinary sentiments, it is hidden; they only see the sixteen-foot [manifestation] and consider it the ultimate. Those of the two vehicles claim it does not exist, so the two vehicles do not see it.
