24.32

案僧亮曰：上已說佛及二乘有異，未說人人各異，故重問也。聲聞如乳者，因有遠近，聲聞菩薩於佛亦爾也。

Sengliang comments: Above it was already stated that the Buddha and the two vehicles are different, but it was not yet said that each person differs from another; hence he asks again. The śrāvakas being like milk refers to causes having closeness and distance; śrāvakas and bodhisattvas are also like this in relation to the Buddha.
