28.26

案僧亮曰：為法斷命即是護法，況直爾出入無期、心同虛空者乎。寶亮曰：引本行為證也。下梵行中明三無量，當復廣其事也。

Sengliang states: Severing life for the sake of the Dharma is precisely protecting the Dharma; how much more so for one whose departures and entries are simply without fixed measure and whose mind is like empty space! Baoliang states: Citing past deeds as verification. Below, in the Brahmacaryā [chapter], the three immeasurables will be explained, where this matter will be expanded upon again.
