案僧亮曰：皆與衰壞作譬也。王譬壯色，敵國譬老，他土人民以譬憶念少盛之事也。

Sengliang comments: These are all parables for decline and decay. The king compares to youthful vigor, the enemy country compares to old age, and the people of another land compare to reminiscing on the matters of youthful flourishing.
