30.24

案智秀曰：總舉上事以求會通也。寶亮曰：難雖有五，不出二途：第一第二第四就果報上作難，第三第五以因徵果也。

Zhixiu comments: He raises all the above matters collectively to seek reconciliation. Baoliang says: Although there are five objections, they do not go beyond two approaches: the first, second, and fourth raise objections regarding the karmic retribution; the third and fifth examine the fruit by means of the cause.
