30.50

案僧亮曰：亦生苦因者，明外物非苦，苦因故說苦也。寶亮曰：答其二難，明此並是因中說果，有何虛妄耶？

Sengliang comments: 'Also producing the causes of suffering' clarifies that external objects are not themselves suffering; because they are the causes of suffering, they are called suffering. Baoliang comments: Answering his two objections, this clarifies that these are all speaking of the effect in terms of the cause; what falsehood could there be in this?
