31.14

案僧亮曰：此下觀門也。此但說愛過，不明是集，不集故不除；菩薩不愛而是集，故除也。僧亮曰：觀愛之過患也。

Sengliang comments: From here down is the gateway of contemplation. This only speaks of the faults of craving and does not clarify that it is origination; because it is not origination, it is not eliminated. Bodhisattvas do not crave, yet it is origination; therefore it is eliminated. Sengliang comments: This contemplates the faults and afflictions of craving.
