31.16

案僧亮曰：拔舍利弗無上根本者則有緣起，載彼釋論也。又相承釋云：于時已至第六住，未得第七住心。有言在住三十心之二十心中。

Sengliang comments: Pulling up Śāriputra's supreme root refers to a dependent arising recorded in that treatise (the Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa). Moreover, inherited explanations state: at that time he had already reached the sixth abode, but had not yet attained the mind of the seventh abode. Some say he was in the twentieth mind among the thirty minds of the abodes.
