32.4

案僧亮曰：上說二乘有諦無實，以不識常。今明見三界苦亦有淺深，證成上義也。僧宗曰：自上來所說四諦，各當諦下皆有別釋，唯滅諦闕會通文耳。四諦既竟，今總會今昔二教總別之旨也。

Sengliang comments: Above, it was said that the two vehicles possess the truths without the real, because they do not recognize permanence. Now it clarifies that discerning the suffering of the three realms also has depths and shallows, corroborating and establishing the meaning above. Sengzong says: Throughout what has been expounded above on the four truths, each truth had its separate explanation, with only the truth of cessation lacking a text on reconciling integration. Now that the four truths are completed, it comprehensively reconciles the general and specific intents of the present and past two teachings.
