32.40

案僧亮曰：此以相續假名為世諦，以念念滅實法為第一義也。僧宗曰：第四重就假實明義。如《般若經．燈炷品》所載也。寶亮曰：釋同。

Sengliang notes: "This takes the provisional name of continuity as conventional truth, and takes the real dharmas that perish moment by moment as the ultimate truth." Sengzong says: "The fourth layer explains the meaning in terms of the provisional and the real, as found in the 'Lamp Wick' chapter of the Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra." Baoliang says: "The explanation is identical."
