案寶亮曰：此云譬喻經。理致虛玄，不可以真言取悟。若不假借外事，無以況所詮也。

Baoliang states: Here it is translated as “parable sūtras.” The principles are empty and profound, and awakening cannot be attained through literal words alone. If one does not borrow external phenomena, there is no way to illustrate that which is expressed.
