案僧宗曰：此下凡設五重難。此第一舉所治之悳既同能治之慈悲，不應有異；所以唯三，不得四也。

Sengzong states: Below this, five challenges are set forth in total. This first one posits that since the virtues to be cured are identical, loving-kindness and compassion as that which cures should not differ; therefore there are only three, and cannot be four.
