案僧宗曰：第二難。四心雖殊，而有三緣，謂緣眾生、緣法及無緣也。既所緣是同，唯應一也。

Sengzong states: The second challenge. Although the four minds are distinct, they have three objects: namely, taking sentient beings as object, taking dharmas as object, and having no object. Since that which is taken as object is identical, there should only be one.
