案僧亮曰：第三譬明教行善法也。僧宗曰：左手捉頭譬之實慧，右手挑出譬方便慧。
Sengliang comments: The third simile clarifies teaching the practice of wholesome dharmas. Sengzong says: Grasping the head with the left hand illustrates true wisdom; picking it out with the right hand illustrates expedient wisdom.
