4.39

案僧亮曰：若我行立，則眾生蒙度也。僧宗曰：若我所設必蒙受者，大眾之施亦皆然也。明駿曰：若我供蒙受，亦當為我住世；世若有佛，則眾生蒙濟也。

Sengliang says: If my practice is established, then sentient beings will be saved. Sengzong says: If what I present must be accepted, the offerings of the great assembly are likewise so. Mingjun says: If my offering is accepted, [the Buddha] will also stay in the world for my sake; if there is a Buddha in the world, then sentient beings will be rescued.
