案法瑤曰：答第三難也。久得般若，但說與不說其時異耳。僧宗曰：答第四六度五眼未修難也。所化之根有熟未熟，故有語默之殊耳也。

Fayao comments: This answers the third objection. He had attained prajñā long ago; it is only that the times of expounding and not expounding differed. Sengzong says: This answers the fourth objection regarding not yet having cultivated the six perfections and five eyes. The capacities of those to be transformed include the mature and the immature; hence there is merely the difference between speech and silence.
