案僧亮曰：不因《涅槃經》持戒，是世間戒，則具四惡，不見佛性出世也。

Sengliang states: Upholding precepts without relying on the Nirvāṇa Sūtra constitutes mundane precepts; one then possesses the four evils, does not see the buddhadhātu, and does not transcend the world.
