案僧亮曰：如者，如佛也。來者，乘因至果也。此果中說如來也。從六波羅蜜者，因中說如來也。

Sengliang states: 'Thus' (tathā) means like the Buddha. 'Come' (āgata) means mounting the cause to arrive at the fruit. This explains Tathāgata in terms of the fruit. 'From the six pāramitās' explains Tathāgata in terms of the cause.
