41.6

案僧亮曰：「諸佛聖僧」至「修行正直法」，釋如法住也。佛師於法，法常故如來常。僧有三義，此釋和合及弟子僧義。「不可觀見」至「不可思議」，義常僧也。一切眾生良祐福田，釋福田僧義也。

Sengliang comments: From 'the noble Saṅgha of all Buddhas' to 'practising the upright Dharma', it explains abiding in accordance with the Dharma. The Buddha takes the Dharma as his teacher, and because the Dharma is permanent, the Tathāgata is permanent. The Saṅgha has three meanings; this explains the meanings of the harmonious Saṅgha and the disciple Saṅgha. From 'cannot be observed' to 'inconceivable', this signifies the permanent Saṅgha. 'A good and bountiful field of merit for all sentient beings' explains the meaning of the field-of-merit Saṅgha.
