42.12

案僧亮曰：刪闍耶是字，毘羅胝是其母字。其人起見云：一切苦樂，因在過去，而現在無因、未來無果。現在持戒，遮苦果不起，名為解脫。僧宗曰：第三邪見，計一切苦樂皆過去造也。

Sengliang states: Sañjaya is his personal name, and Vairaṭī is his mother's name. That man gave rise to the view saying: the causes of all suffering and pleasure lie in the past, while the present has no cause and the future has no fruit. Observing precepts in the present blocks suffering fruits from arising, which is called liberation.
Sengzong says: The third false view posits that all suffering and pleasure are generated in the past.
