42.38

案僧亮曰：證發露則罪滅也。寶亮曰：第三明王信心不斷，故可治也。智秀曰：上來至此第一，既非闡提，而有慚愧，罪可滅。

Sengliang states: This attests that through disclosure, sins are extinguished.
Baoliang says: Third, it clarifies that the king's faithful mind is not severed, hence he can be treated.
Zhixiu says: Up to this point is the first [part]: since he is not an icchantika and has shame and remorse, his sins can be extinguished.
