43.28

案僧亮曰：聖人現滅，欲以益物。若生定滅之倒，致悶絕之苦者，佛則為之不涅槃也。

Sengliang notes: The Sage manifests extinction wishing to benefit beings. If one gives rise to the inversion that [the Buddha] definitely undergoes extinction, bringing about the suffering of swooning, the Buddha will, for his sake, not enter nirvāṇa.
