案僧亮曰：冀汝捉持者，懼犯罪增生，入地獄也。智秀曰：第七始從耆婆勸，命駕至佛所去也。僧宗曰：第四翻聞法之機發也。

Sengliang notes: 'I hope you will hold onto me' shows his fear that the committed offense will increase, causing him to enter hell. Zhixiu says: The seventh [part shows him] only now following Jīvaka's encouragement, ordering his carriage to go to the Buddha's place. Sengzong says: The fourth turn shows the capacity to hear the Dharma being activated.
