案僧宗曰：生疑亦不必皆由此經。若疑二乘為有為無，《法華》諸經已能除之，此乃遍引耳。

Sengzong states: "Giving rise to doubts also does not necessarily all stem from this sūtra. If one doubts whether the two vehicles are existent or nonexistent, the Lotus Sūtra and other sūtra have already been able to eliminate it; here, it merely cites broadly."
