案僧亮曰：第三難也。寶亮曰：若不聞之法要必得聞者，佛應有師；若言無師，云何而說聞所不聞也。

Sengliang notes: This is the third objection. Baoliang says: If the phenomenon of not hearing necessarily had to be heard, the Buddha should have had a teacher; if you say you had no teacher, how can you speak of hearing what was not heard?
