案僧亮曰：第五難。不共有故，則無常也。僧宗曰：既不平等，云何言常？寶亮曰：若是常者，應如虛空；而有得不得，故不應常也。

Sengliang notes: The fifth objection. Because it is not universally shared, it is impermanent. Sengzong says: Since it is not equal, how can it be called permanent? Baoliang says: If it is permanent, it should be like space; yet there is attaining and not attaining, so it should not be permanent.
