案僧亮曰：答第二難也。無煩惱處，是真涅槃，此處寂滅，不可莊嚴。汝自莊嚴求耳，非莊嚴涅槃也。寶亮曰：除障故真顯，判非惑盡之時方有真生也。

Sengliang notes: Answering the second objection. The place free of afflictions is true nirvāṇa; this place is tranquil and cannot be adorned. You merely adorn yourself in seeking it; it is not that you adorn nirvāṇa. Baoliang says: Because hindrances are eliminated, the true is revealed; it is definitively not that true existence only arises when delusion is exhausted.
