案僧亮曰：答第四難也。寶亮曰：致涅槃之名，理有二途：一就二用立稱、二就體相為字。此乃據體為論也。就真而辯用者，其萬德亦常也。

Sengliang notes: Answering the fourth objection. Baoliang says: In establishing the name of nirvāṇa, the principle has two pathways: first, establishing the designation in terms of the two functions; second, assigning the name in terms of essence and characteristics. Here it is discussed based on essence. If one explains the function with respect to the true, its myriad virtues are also permanent.
