案僧亮曰：果法雖有，而生無也。僧宗曰：上四句答難，遣執已畢，今直遣生體也。寶亮曰：偏遣生相也。

Sengliang says: Although the resultant dharma exists, birth itself is non-existent. Sengzong says: The preceding four lines answered the objections and finished dispelling attachments; now he directly dispels the substance of birth itself. Baoliang says: This specifically dispels the characteristic of birth.
