案僧亮曰：諸法生滅，不相知也。至則此生，不至則彼滅。生滅理隔，並無來也。寶亮曰：假名相續道中有來有至，實法則無。

Sengliang notes: The arising and ceasing of phenomena do not know one another. If one arrives, there is arising here; if one does not arrive, there is ceasing there. The principles of arising and ceasing are separated, and in neither case is there coming. Baoliang says: In the path of the continuity of nominal designations, there is coming and arriving; in the real Dharma, there is none.
