46.80

案僧亮曰：甚深空定者，求法定相，則空是深也。僧宗曰：遮其前意，故言莫入空定也。寶亮曰：上來所說寄有以談理，更試之，言莫謂據此而說。

Sengliang says: 'Profound emptiness samādhi' means that if one seeks the definitive characteristics of dharmas, then emptiness is profound. Sengzong says: He curbs his previous inclination, hence he says 'do not enter into emptiness samādhi.' Baoliang says: What was spoken above drew upon existence to discuss principle; testing them further, he means that they should not think he spoke on this basis.
