案道生曰：害逼身命，喻火燒室也。僧亮曰：既生此謗，謗殃及身也。法瑤曰：猶譬耶辨也。曇濟曰：始覺故言卒起。

Daosheng comments: Harm pressing upon body and life is allegorized as fire burning the room. Sengliang says: Having produced this slander, the calamity of slander reaches one's person. Fayao says: It still allegorizes wrong disputation. Tanji says: Only beginning to awaken, it therefore says 'suddenly broke out.'
