5.74

案道生曰：知非己招，如從眠寤也。僧亮曰：知禍由己招也。寶亮曰：怪耶辨之非曰驚，尋理不然曰寤也。道慧記曰：向以暫不緣，今還得解。

Daosheng comments: Knowing that the fault was incurred by oneself is like awakening from sleep. Sengliang says: Knowing that misfortune was brought upon oneself. Baoliang says: Wondering at the error of wrong disputation is called 'startled'; investigating principle and finding it not to be so is called 'waking up.' Daohui's record says: Previously not attending to it temporarily, now he regains understanding.
