52.14

案僧亮曰：始發心求佛也。寶亮曰：第五聚也，謂菩提之心。菩提名道，此行人始習心也，一則遠求佛果、二為拔彼蒼生。若能守護此心，必剋菩提也。

Sengliang states: This is initially arousing the mind to seek buddhahood. Baoliang states: This is the fifth group, meaning the bodhicitta. Bodhi means the Path; this is the mind initially practiced by the practitioner: first, to seek the Buddha-fruit from afar, and second, to deliver all living beings. If one can guard this mind, one will certainly attain bodhi.
