52.40

案僧亮曰：成其偏見，非先所說有者之失。悉無有果者，成說無之過也。僧宗曰：正義所明，諸法無定，緣會則有、緣離則無。以無定故，其二難自除也。寶亮曰：次非第二家。

Sengliang states: This establishes their biased view, refuting the fault of those who previously claimed existence. 'Completely devoid of fruit' establishes the fault of claiming non-existence. Sengzong says: What the correct principle clarifies is that all phenomena lack determinacy; when conditions converge, they exist; when conditions separate, they do not exist. Because there is no determinacy, those two objections naturally dissolve. Baoliang says: Next, he refutes the second school.
