52.74

案僧亮曰：雪山者，與縛解為譬。俱不能行者，譬解脫也。人不能行者，譬初縛後解也。二俱能行者，譬俱生俱滅在生死也。

Sengliang states: The Snow Mountains are used as an analogy for bondage and liberation. Neither being able to go serves as an analogy for liberation. Humans being unable to go serves as an analogy for being bound first and liberated later. Both being able to go serves as an analogy for arising together and ceasing together in birth and death.
