53.10

案僧亮曰：終不說之者，說惡增二罪、讚善長二福也。云何為善所謂佛性者，善中之少，唯闡提也。寶亮曰：謂正因性也。唯此為真善，而非是緣中所生者。若舉用來明者，能得於善果亦名曰善。為物說言身中有佛性，令心歡喜，發心行道。

Sengliang comments: 'Never speaks of it' means that speaking of evil increases two offenses, while praising good nurtures two merits. As for 'what is good, namely the buddhadhātu': that which is the least among the good belongs solely to the icchantika. Baoliang says: This refers to the direct-cause nature. Only this is the true good, and is not something generated within conditions. If one clarifies it in terms of its function, that which can obtain the good fruit is also called 'good'. Telling beings that within their bodies is the buddhadhātu causes their hearts to rejoice, so that they generate the resolve to practice the path.
