Sengliang states: One who takes it as empty immediately relies on what was heard to raise an objection about something being fundamentally devoid of that quality. Objecting that a salty substance fundamentally lacks a salty nature, yet is made salty—if it is not empty, it is an inversion. If it is purely empty, there is again nothing to be seen, which further constitutes the previous objection.
