案僧亮曰：見涅槃常樂，知生死幻偽，安之為化，以為苦也。僧宗曰：從初地乃至十地菩薩，救苦眾生，其心甘樂如三禪也。

Sengliang states: They see the permanence and bliss of nirvāṇa, know that saṃsāra is an illusion and false, and find peace in it for the sake of transforming [others], taking it to be suffering. Sengzong states: Bodhisattvas from the first bhūmi up to the tenth bhūmi rescue suffering sentient beings, and their minds find it sweet and delightful, like the third dhyāna.
