案道生曰：十住幾見髣髴其終也。始既無際，窮理乃覩也。僧亮曰：證不見者也。僧宗曰：十二因緣至金剛時斷，故其終易了。尋其本源，不可而知也。

Daosheng comments: Those of the ten abodes barely see their end faintly. Since the beginning has no boundary, it is observed only when the principle is fully exhausted. Sengliang comments: This proves those who do not see. Sengzong comments: The twelve links of dependent origination are severed at the diamond stage, so their end is easy to understand. Tracing their fundamental source, it cannot be known.
