55.18

案僧宗曰：第七翻，明十住所以不見，以其理故也。為成此義故假設狀貌，不亦易可知耶。亦色者，垂形六道也。非色者，理絕形色也。非色非非色者，雙遣也。亦一者，理無二也。非一者，說三乘也。文中自有具釋。

Sengzong comments: The seventh turn clarifies why [bodhisattvas of] the ten stages do not see it: it is because of its principle. In order to establish this meaning, an appearance is hypothetically postulated; is this not easily understood? 'Also form' means manifesting forms in the six destinies. 'Non-form' means that the principle transcends form and matter. 'Neither form nor non-form' is a dual negation. 'Also one' means that the principle is without duality. 'Not one' refers to explaining the three vehicles. The text itself provides a full explanation.
