案道生曰：俱是作法，亦相比而言之耳。寶亮曰：泛明一切緣正二因義，但使於果力強便是生因，弱者屬了因也。

Daosheng comments: Both are conditioned processes; they are merely spoken of in relative terms. Baoliang says: This broadly explains the meaning of all contributory and primary causes: as long as its power toward the fruit is strong, it is a generative cause; that which is weak belongs to the revealing cause.
